GOT A POSTIVE RESULT?

Firstly, stay calm and do not drink!

*Some substances, such as those that are dark red in colour or milk-based, may produce a false positive.

 

  • Alert someone you completely trust, such as a friend, bar staff, security staff, a medical professional or the police.

​

  • If you need to be discreet, ask the bar staff for an 'Angel Shot' An angel shot is an order placed at a bar or restaurant that signals the bartender or server that the guest feels unsafe and needs help. 

​

  • If you’re not with anyone, call someone you trust and get to a safe place. Ask to use a phone if you need to.

​

  • Be wary of accepting help from a stranger and don’t leave with someone you don’t know.

​

  • If you need urgent help, call 000. Otherwise, someone you trust should take you to your nearest emergency department. Tell the medical staff that you think your drink has been spiked.​​​
