Safer Sips has formed an exciting partnership to introduce CYD (Check Your Drink) revolutionary drug detection tests to Australia and New Zealand, marking a significant step forward in promoting safety and awareness around drink spiking in both countries.

The CYD test, which was in development for over four years, is the result of extensive research and collaboration with the University of Strathclyde and Clinical Trials Laboratory Services (CTLS). This innovative technology aims to help individuals quickly and effectively detect the presence of two of the most commonly used and dangerous drink-spiking substances: Ketamine and GHB.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the CYD test consists of a simple, portable drug detection strip that allows individuals to test their drink for the presence of these harmful substances within moments. In order to ensure its accuracy, the test has been rigorously tested across a broad range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. When they realized effective drink spiking detection tools weren’t readily available in Australia or
New Zealand, they decided to take action.
